  • Guestbook messages: if you choose to leave a message, we collect your chosen name/pseudonym and your message content. This data is stored on Upstash (Redis) servers.
  • Location data: with your explicit browser permission, we access your approximate location to display local weather information. This data is never stored on our servers.
  • Server logs: our hosting provider Vercel may automatically collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited). We do not access or process this data.

3. How we use your data

  • Guestbook messages are reviewed and may be published on the website after manual approval.
  • Location data is used solely to display weather information and is never transmitted to our servers.
  • We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Data retention

Approved guestbook messages are stored indefinitely unless you request deletion. Pending messages that are not approved are deleted periodically.

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data

  • Request data portability
